The dReveal report definition files are encrypted with AES256, so that they can be safely transported over the internet.  In terms of securing data, dReveal provides various options to implement user and role-based security, so that only authorized users may view it.  Lastly, to ensure that the application can be safely implemented, the web components go through security penetration testing and analysis.

No, dReveal implements highly optimized database queries, and retrieves only the necessary amount of data needed for a report to be displayed.  These techniques (including caching and paging mechanisms) ensure that the use of shared server resources is done without affecting the performance of the hosting application.

Yes, our Reporting Services team can convert them for you, and create reports that provide the information you need from your old application service.

Yes! These ad hoc reports can be created by your IT team through the dReveal Designers, or by us through our Reporting Services team.

Yes, it requires very short training and users must have an understanding of database relationships.

If users don’t want to use the dReveal Designers to create reports, they can request our Reporting Services team to create one for them.  These can be customized from an existing report, or personalized from scratch.

No, the reports are not designed to be viewed on small devices.  You might be able to see them on tablets, but because there’s so much data it will be too small for the eyes.

Yes, there is free support with the purchase of any product or plan.

No, it’s not possible to have different data sources.  There can only be one database connection through MS SQL Server or OData.
